Syncura is safer than online banking. Files are transmitted between your team's computers using public key and 256-bit AES encryption.

Alerts

Know when your clients have added or updated a file. The Syncura icon in the system task area turns green when someone has changed a file and the file has been downloaded from their computer. The list of new or updated files is displayed when the mouse is hovered over the icon.

Ease of use

Don't waste time learning how to use a new interface. Your team's files are stored in a normal folder accessible via Windows Explorer. If you know how to use Windows Explorer, you know how to use Syncura.

Exclusive file editing

Keep your documents in sync so two people don't make changes to the same document at the same time. You can optionally check out a file and lock it so no one else can edit it.

If you don't feel like locking a file and two people edit a file at the same time, Syncura will warn the second person who starts editing a file. If there is a conflict, Syncura will rename your file to include " - Username's backup" in the filename so no changes are lost.

Automatic backup

There is no single point of failure - the best kind of backup. All shared files are stored on each person's computer and are continously synchronized as you work. Leverage the physical distribution of your clients and ensure that theft, fire, or malfunction don't ruin weeks or months of work.

Online presence

Similar to instant messaging, Syncura shows you which members of your team workspace are currently online. In addition, if a user installs Syncura on more than one computer, you can see which computer is online.

File exclusion



Individuals can decide to not synchronize certain files or folders but allow the rest of the team to continue synchronizing them. If someone adds files you don't need to have on your local computer, you're not forced to download it.

Syncura can also ignore files that you don't want to be synchronized, such as temporary application files (e.g. *.tmp).
